Regarding the season, we cross it by the south \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our trip in numbers :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A <strong>4500km (2800 mi)<\/strong> travel<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>6 days<\/strong>where enought to link Long Beach CA from Miami Beach, FL<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The last<strong> 2800km<\/strong> were done in <strong>only 29 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/bi5nt.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-490\" title=\"bi5nt\" src=\"http:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/bi5nt-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/bi5nt-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/bi5nt.jpg 478w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Our longest <strong>non stop ride<\/strong> with the same driver was from San Antonio TX to Kingman AZ, meaning <strong>2000km in 23h<\/strong> : an adorable couple Desirae &#038; Hulon took care of us in such an amazing way !<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_1753.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-497\" title=\"autostop\" src=\"http:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_1753-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_1753-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_1753-1024x765.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Our longuest time waiting was 30km before New Orleans : <strong>stuck 6 hours<\/strong> without anybody willing to give us a ride, either asking at the gas station or hitchhiking alog the road<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Our biggest <strong>money gift : 100$ <\/strong>by Kevin, in San Antonio &#8220;Jesus told me to give it to you&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Our shortest wait : at Kingman&#8217;s truck stop, we made a call on the CB (truck radio) and a truck came to pick us up right in front of the truck we were in : <strong>5m<\/strong> to walk !<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Our worst night : Crowley, LA, we were stuck there with nobody willing to help us, by night, freezing, and we finaly took an <strong>hotel<\/strong> at 2am and we managed to negociate it from 60$ to <strong>40$<\/strong>. A nice hotel, with a big bed, a big bath and an expresso machine with free coffee.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/police.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-496\" title=\"police\" src=\"http:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/police-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/police-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/police-765x1024.jpg 765w, https:\/\/www.juliachou.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/police.jpg 1936w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>6 police cars<\/strong> did stop for us. 3 gave us a ride to the next exit, and 1 nearly took us to the police station because we where trying to sleep in a wooden garden shelter(on sell).
