I am often asked what is the country I liked the most, but for me, it’s not the place that I like, but the trip itself : when, who was with me, in which state of mind… For example, I have been several times to New York, and I lived it in a totally different way depending on the trips.
Every time I am asked this question, depending on my mood, I give a different answer. Most of my trips are for me magic and unique adventures.
But for me, often, the most important is not where I go but who I go with. Sometimes, when my Parisian life become too crazy, too intense, I leave to be disconnected, and recentre on myself, define what I really want.
I asked you what was your best trip in my last article and I received several nice replies in comments. Then I  asked a few friends of mine what was their best trip and why. And they told me a few beautiful stories !

Joseph and Soraya at Sinai

Rome par Geoffrey Dorne

Geoffrey Dorne : “For me, my best trip was in Rome for the new year with my girlfriend. A stolen moment (we work a lot), surprising, what a crazy idea to visit Rome in 4 days in winter. Actually, it was a parenthesis in time and space.”
Alexandre alias Tuxboard : “Croatia, a rush with no reservation with a very good friend, an adventure, in contact with the local people, Into The Wild style. Magnificent beaches, very rich culturally with crazy landscapes and awesome nights… In short, great holidays !”

Alex Goude : “Ouh laaaaa I made a lot but I’d say the American West for the immensity and the diversity of the landscapes, it’s so inspiring, and when you’re facing a sequoia you feel so small you realise how immense the world.”
Ben Mazué : “Ahlala I don’t know I have a lot of favourite ones, but I think that the best of the bests was Florida with my sisters and my parents for Christmas 96. We won 5 tickets for Miami at a lottery. But we we were broke, so my mother turned the tickets into charter tickets and with the difference we rented a car. Road trip in family, broke, in Florida, at Christmas, eating Taco Bells and sleeping all 5 in micro rooms of crappy Motels. I don’t know if I had as much fun since then.”

Marjorie Le Noan à Hollywood

Marjorie Le Noan : “Los Angeles, especially for the hikes I made on the Hills or the sailing at Marina Del Rey, and the sunsets which have a unique colour. And the old L.A style that we find everywhere, the spirit of the big Hollywood stars etc… And the road-trips that you can have all around.”
