Les Halles
The large marketplace which is now located at Rungis used to be at « Les Halles », in the heart of Paris. In 1960, it has been moved to Rungis.
« Les Halles » now host the idle youth, arriving from suburbs with the RER (Paris’s express commuter rail system), spending the day wandering about, and filthy rich Parisians, living in the surrounding upscale neighborhood, shopping.

From the 2nd to the 28th of July, the seafood restaurant by Alain Ducasse, Le Rech, dedicates to London Olympic Games, a special Fish’n’chips. Of course, I tasted it!

I’m a foody, I love Paris, and above all I love my neighborhood, especially the Rue Montorgueil.

During the stay of my australian friend Dan in Paris, I wanted to make him taste the good french products. So we went to explore the treasures of rue Montorgueil.
A very french food :
First, we go to La Fermette, on the 86 rue Montorgueil and we ask for a plate of cheeses reguarding our own taste. The one on the photo costs 18€, and we got fresh goat cheese, cow cheese saint marcelin, traditional conté, sheep cheese and soft reblochon.
